Geo Expertise is a non-profit organization whose goal is to provide support in the following areas:
- Geographic information system (GIS) application as a research tool in social sciences and natural resource management,
- Set up of field-level data collection programs based on innovative, reliable and cost-effective techniques,
- Development of standards, methodology and tools to improve collection, storage and processing of geo-referenced data,
- Needs assessment for geographic-related information,
- Developement of decision-support tools,
- Design and application of spatial analysis, production of thematic maps and statistical reports,
- Promotion of information exchange and interactive databases,
- Monitoring, quality control and training.
